A LETTER TO MY LOVE.
Dear Love,
First I would like to say that I love you. I knew in 2017 I would fall for you. Your willingness to love, to learn and to serve intrigued me, but your past, your imperfections, and knowing that you are shattered but pieced together by the love of Christ captivated me.
I remember when you use to toss and turn in your sleep over your unfulfilled purpose and I even watched you wash away the pain the past brought you, but I continued to love you.
Man to be honest there were times when I wanted to give up on you because you were blind to the fact that you constantly showed up for those who would not even show up for you.
But I will never forget the day that you decided to be happy. That was the day you recognized you are worth more and wouldn't let negativity stand in the way. So you stepped back, removed yourself from several situations and started fresh.
But what really made me love you was your ability to move forward. No matter what was thrown your way, you never gave up. I know you cried tears in your car, you've screamed out "why!" you wondered why everyone's life around was going so great, you even felt stagnant and you didn't know what else to do except for pray. That's the person I fell in love with. The person who was willing to endure the storms because she knew greater was coming.
My love you are beautiful, you are kind, you are a child of the Most High and you are amazing.
I love you Alexandria
P.S. sometimes you have to remind yourself why you love YOU!
