PEACE.

I had the opportunity to visit Mexico, but before I visited I promised myself that I would attain maximum peace while there.

However, in order to attain peace I first had to define peace for myself.

Peace: being free from anything that is disturbing or cluttering to my mind.

Then I had to acknowledge the things that were considered disturbance and/or clutter:

-Social media

- Idolizing other's success

 - Allowing negative people to limit me from experiencing the best vacation

- Any thoughts that clouded my judgment.

You may be thinking there is no way that I was able to have a more peaceful mindset (which in return creates a more peaceful life) while in Mexico since I was surrounded by all the wonderful food, music, excursions, and tequila.

Funny thing is, I thought I would find the most peaceful moments on the beach, snorkeling in a cave, zip lining through the trees or even hiking to see the Mayan Ruins.

NOPE!!

It was one late night on the patio while I was lying on a hammock away from everyone with only the view of the moon and the sound of bugs around me. That's where I attained the most peaceful moment.

It was at that moment where all the worries of life and all the fears of failing went out of the way and the fuel of "WHY NOT" and the fuel of passion and purpose pricked my heart.

It was Mexico for me, but maybe it is your patio at home, your quiet time you spend alone, or your workout session where you realize it is time to stop living out pain from the past, having no sight of your purpose and no confidence about your future..... It's time to move forward if you want to create a more peaceful life.

You Got This!
